Quality Loft Beds With Desk

Well, If you're like me, you like to have as much storage space as possible, but you may not have the room for all your storage needs and traditional furniture. And if you have kids, well, then you definitely don't have the room.

That's why I like the loft bed with desk, especially for children or teenagers. It makes utilizing every inch of space not only functional, but also fun and stylish. Children love to feel like they have a secret place, and the area under the bed and desk can be transformed into nearly anything. And, as an added bonus for parents, some loft beds with desk have an open and airy construction, making it extremely hard to hide things under the bed
instead of actually cleaning.

See? The metal construction makes for an impossible hiding place. And, if you wanted to create more storage space, the desk could easily fit bins or tubs on casters underneath, or even CD/DVD towers. The possibilities are seriously endless. Trust me, I should know, I had one for five years, and we gave my little sister one for her 13th birthday.

She loves it. It's got so much room for storage. The desk has enough room for a computer, plus extra room for books or other things. Now, her's didn't come with a mattress up front, but then with most loft beds you have to purchase the mattress separately. However I've found that having to do so isn't really a bad thing. I find that if you purchase a full on kit, the mattresses tend to be very uncomfortable, so being free to choose the kind of mattress you want is really a plus.

A loft bed with desk is also good for the college bound, in fact most college dorm rooms either provide jr. loft beds (with an option to loft it yourself or have a company loft it) or require you to buy and build your own loft bed with desk, due to the small size of most dorm rooms. Colleges expect to be able to fit two people per room, and the rooms are tiny. Buying a loft bed with desk will save you the headache of dealing with a severe lack of space.

That being said, don't just use the loft bed with desk for the college bound teen or young children, they're great for adults living in tiny apartments who need to get as much room out of their space as they possibly can. Why clutter up a small living room with your computer desk, if you can just keep it compact with the bedroom.

Take it from me, if you want to save yourself some money and a headache in the long run, get a loft bed with a desk. The compact nature of the loft bed makes it pretty much a must in the space conscious home. Think about it. Most families need a home office or den, where adults can get some extra work done at home, or just sit and relax. My mom uses my old room now as a guest room/craft room. She uses the desk on the bed for cutting fabric and storing her sewing machine, but if I come for a visit, I still have a place to sleep, plus there is plenty of room for book shelves and comfortable chairs fit for entertaining.

If you think about it's essentially the perfect piece of furniture. It's easily assembled and disassembled for easy movement, it lasts for a good long while, and it can be used for just about anyone. Add in that you can pretty much use it anywhere, and it's the perfect piece of combination furniture and with all the different kinds to choose, from a metal one that is sleek and modern, or a lovely wooden one that can give a room an old world feel, you honestly can't go wrong.
