She loves it. It's got so much room for storage. The desk has enough room for a computer, plus extra room for books or other things. Now, her's didn't come with a mattress up front, but then with most loft beds you have to purchase the mattress separately. However I've found that having to do so isn't really a bad thing. I find that if you purchase a full on kit, the mattresses tend to be very uncomfortable, so being free to choose the kind of mattress you want is really a plus.

A loft bed with desk is also good for the college bound, in fact most college dorm rooms either provide jr. loft beds (with an option to loft it yourself or have a company loft it) or require you to buy and build your own loft bed with desk, due to the small size of most dorm rooms.
